This mellow roast is perfect to soothe your mind and muscles, whether you’re relaxing during a busy weekday or winding up at the weekend.

Roasting

Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is pleasant to drink. It mellows, and turns into warm to your senses. The cocoa influences of Latin America smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes to balance. The result is a coffee that is delicious by itself, or with milk chocolate or cake. It is a great match with vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.

When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brewing. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for 4 minutes, this ensures that the grounds are fully saturated and not over extracted. The water is then forced through the grounds by the plunger.
